Tonight [until tomorrow evening at sunset] we will celebrate the Day of Atonement: fasting and prayer;
In Hebrew, this holiday is called Yom Kippur, which comes from Kapara, meaning to cover, and our Messiah made atonement for us with His Blood.
For it is written:
…12 and He entered once for all into the Holy Place, not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His Own Blood, having obtained eternal redemption. 13For if the blood of bulls and goats, and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkled on those who are defiled, sanctify and procure purity of the flesh, 14 how much more will the Blood of the Anointed One [“Christ”], who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to Yahuah [“God”], will He purify your conscience from dead works, so that you may serve the living God!…
Yahuah did state :
11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood. I have given it to you upon the altar, to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.
So many foreshadowings of Yeshua's sacrifice in the First Part of Holy Scriptures ["Old Testament"] :
Atonement is not simply a one-time event, but an infinite and ongoing force that fundamentally transforms those who accept it.
This transforming power manifests itself in many ways—spiritually, emotionally, and even physically.
It brings deep healing, lasting change, and a renewal of meaning in life:
Through the Atonement, Elohim purifies us from our sins, through the Precious Blood of His Son : is this not the Blood of His Right Hand [The Name YHWH means Behold the Hand Behold the Nail] shed for us so that it is no longer we who live but Yeshua Who lives in us.
Yeshua is the Alef and the Tav [rather than the Alpha and the Omega, which do not have the same characteristics]: Alef Tav is a sign that appears many times and is scattered throughout the First Covenant [“Old Testament”]: in this very important part it is the Father Who shows us the Son.
Just as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.
For this is My Blood of the Covenant, which is poured out for many for the remission of sins.
And He said to them, “This is My Blood of the Covenant, which is poured out for many.”
Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through His blood, by faith, to declare His righteousness for the present time, because He had passed over the sins that were before, in the time of His patience, (...)
He Himself is the propitiatory sacrifice for our sins, not only for ours, but also for those of the whole world.
Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.
In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace,
in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins...
And almost everything, according to the law, is purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.
That is why Yeshua [“Jesus”] also, in order to sanctify the people by His own blood, suffered outside the gate.
who are chosen according to the foreknowledge of Yahweh [“God”] the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, to be obedient and sprinkled with the blood of Yeshua Ha Mashiach [“Jesus Christ”]: Grace and peace be multiplied to you.
But if we walk in the light, as He Himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the Blood of Yeshua [Jesus] His Son cleanses us from all sin.
and from Yeshua Ha Mashiach “Jesus Christ,” the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the Prince of the kings of the earth! To Him who loves us, who has delivered us from our sins by His blood,
Then we will celebrate Sukkot/The Feast of Tabernacles from the 7th [we will be at the full moon, so generally the 15th day of the seventh month from the new moon of the spring equinox and especially according to the state of ripeness of the barley in Jerusalem. The barley must be waved on the 17th day and represents the first fruits, an image of our Messiah] until 10/14 [the last quarter of the moon].
